What we believe.
The Utah Chiropractic Physician’s Association (UCPA), based in Salt Lake City, UT, is the only professional association in the state representing all UT licensed chiropractic physicians. The UCPA provides an interface with state agencies, lobbying, public relations, insurance relations, continuing education and professional development opportunities for chiropractic physicians, offering leadership for the advancement of the profession within the state. The UCPA promotes the highest standards of ethics and patient care to benefit all of Utah.
UCPA Mission Statement
It is the mission of the UCPA to represent and support every doctor in the state of Utah, regardless of personal philosophy or choice of technique. Our mission is to be a proactive advocate of the chiropractic profession; while protecting the rights and welfare of both the patients it serves, and the licensed doctors it represents. As an association we will work for equal recognition and participation for chiropractic on all aspects of healthcare; including private insurance, government health plans, and any other resource that affects the delivery of healthcare to the people of our great state. As we promote the benefits of chiropractic to all, it is our goal to make Utah the premiere state in which to establish a practice.
As we strive to fulfill this mission, it is critical that we as an association communicate with you as one of its members. This publication was created to serve as that communication resource. It is our hope that as you read through these pages, you will not only find content to keep you up to date with the latest events directly affecting our professional, but also inspiration to lift you to new heights of success in your practice.
We are excited about the possibilities that lay ahead through the use of this new resource. It is our goal that by providing you with such up-to-date information––and inspiration, we as a state will become more unified in our cause and, as a result, achieve the success and respect our profession has long deserved.
