DISTRICT LEADERS & COMMITTEES:

PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Representation and Advocacy
    • Act as the primary representative for chiropractors within the district.
  • Communication and Engagement
    • Organize and facilitate regular district meetings.
    • Ensure effective communication with district members.
  • Membership Growth and Retention
    • Recruit new members and foster relationships to retain current members.
    • Submit at least one social media image and related post monthly.
  • Support and Resource Provision
    • Provide mentorship to newer chiropractors.
    • Assist members with issues and direct them to appropriate committees.
  • Coordination with UCPA Leadership
    • Align district activities with UCPA’s goals and mission.
    • Provide feedback on district-level issues.
  • Community Outreach and Public Relations
    • Promote chiropractic care through public relations and community outreach.
    • Organize or participate in local health fairs, workshops, or charity events.
  • Purpose: Ensure compliance with state laws, regulations, and ethical standards for chiropractic practices.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Legislation Monitoring: Track legislative developments affecting chiropractors in Utah.
    • Compliance Oversight: Advise on legal obligations such as insurance, licensing, and continuing education.
    • Legal Representation: Coordinate legal assistance for members facing challenges.
    • Policy Advocacy: Work with lawmakers to advocate for beneficial laws.
    • Dispute Resolution: Support resolution of conflicts between members and patients or insurance companies.
